As a nurse ,I love the way I get to help my patients. I love that I can help save someone’s life or help them smile on their worst day. As a coach, we have the ability to help people reach their highest potential, and instead of using bandaids to fix symptoms, we fix the root cause of the problem – which is preventative. We as nurses spend our days teaching our patients to better care for themselves, and to help PREVENT returning to the hospital. As coaches, we hope our challengers gain meaning for their lives from the accountability and teaching we do. It gladdens my heart to see patients get better, be healthier, be happier, and have more confidence in being able to take their own lives into their hands again. I am sure you feel the same, no matter what type of nurse you are.
On the flip side, a downside to nursing is the salary. I have a stacked resume, with killer experience – everything from trauma to high acuity patients, ER, pre/post-op, charge RN experience, advanced degrees and advanced training and certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, ECRN, TNS, BLS, Hazmat, Stroke, you name it I’ve got it) that make me a more valuable asset. But no matter how much energy, time, effort and work we pour into our careers, our pay will almost never be higher than someone else with the same amount of years of experience, or what the “going rate” across the board is. In order to increase your income, you need additional schooling, overtime hours, a travel nursing position, or the ability to give up benefits to work PRN. All this pressure and bureaucracy comes from the government and the administration of the hospitals who never set foot in your unit. They never do CPR on the patient dying in the ER, or catch a patient deteriorating on the floor before they too end up in dire need of intervention. They don’t see the short-staffed nursing conditions that make it so their nurses cannot barely urinate or feed themselves during a 12-hour shift. (Am I right?!!?)
Every year I grow older, the need to have more control over the most basic aspects of my life: work, happiness, health, income and time have moved to the front burner. I took control of my health by using 21 day fix workout and nutrition plan to lose the 35 pounds I put on with pregnancy and stress, mainly financial stress. Now, Beachbody is providing me the rest in the form of my online coaching business.
I became a coach in July of 2014 and since that time, I have been able to MATCH my nursing income with this business, and my earnings are only increasing every single week. I earned a free ticket to the trip to Nashville we took this past summer to get recognized on stage in front of 30,000 other coaches for the accomplishments I have achieved in such a short period of time (rewards and recognition – what!? Us nurses don’t even know what that means! ;-)). We have paid off thousands of dollars of consumer debt, allowing us to add more to our retirement savings than we ever imagined. We have a steady stream of income coming in every month that GROWS every time I put more effort into it. (Again – I am in control of how much I make, how quickly!) Most importantly, I am at a place in my life where I can decide if I want to stay with nursing or retire early to run this business from home. In the next 6 months, I assume I will be retiring (in my mid 20’s) to work this business exclusively from home (or wherever we want to travel!) with my daughter right next to me (my ultimate dream!). I got here in just ONE year, and within 2 years of signing up all of my goals and dreams will have come to fruition and it will be time for more lofty goals and dreams – those of which I never imagined I would be able to materialize in real life. I want you to imagine what that could look like for you.
All the skills and talents I have developed over my nursing career are instrumental in this business:
- I communicate how to use Beachbody fitness programs and Shakeology to lose weight and get fit at home.
- I encourage women on their weight loss journey, providing feedback about their progress and how they can improve.
- I teach my coaches how to use duplication to achieve the same business success as me.
- I manage my time and resources to effectively prioritize getting my daily tasks accomplished in a timely manner.
- I use and teach goal setting to my customers and coaches so they get the results they are working for.
- I use my communication skills to share my own story so I can reach others like me who need my help.
- I use my natural desire to help others succeed in a new way every day.
- I genuinely care about how I can improve the lives of the people who entrust me with them.
- I am fulfilled by being able to be the difference maker in other people’s lives but just believing in them and supporting them.
Doing a few very simple vital behaviors every day since I started this has created my success. I control how fast or slow I want to grow this business. I set the goals I want to reach. I set my hours and choose my teammates (how many nurses would DIE for this opportunity to CHOOSE who you work with!). I am in complete control. I do it in just 1-2 hours a day and for a cost of $16 a month. That is it.
I am looking to personally mentor 20 women like me. If you are a nurse who wants to create some freedom and income while getting in the best shape of your life, helping others do the same, using the best fitness programs in the world at home on your time, you need to reach out to me. I want to hear from you. I can help you do just that and more with the time and skills you have right now. Interested?
Apply to join my team and I will personally contact you in the next few days to talk about your goals and get you started as a coach. I will mentor you one-on-one and help you learn the exact steps I took to achieve massive success with this business in a short period of time. Let’s do this!!!
